Virtual Computers - Internet Browser

The University of Georgia has launched a new service to remotely access lab software "anywhere, anytime" via a web browser on any device. The UGA Virtual Lab (vLab) allows students with a MyID and password to access a lab environment with applications to use on their work and personal devices, regardless if they are on or off campus. It's like going to a computer lab without leaving your residence hall or home.

Accessing the Virtual Lab Envrionment

To get started:

  1. In any modern web browser, visit http://vlab.uga.edu
  2. Enter your MyID and MyID password
  3. Confirm Two-Factor Authorization
  4. The virtual computer should launch

Accessing OIE Resources

  • Sunapsis
    1. Connect to vlab
    2. Go to https://istart.uga.edu and log into Administrative Services
    3. Launch the Sunapsis module
  • Connecting to the OIE office file server

  • Banner Steps

    2. Connect to the ArchPass
