Dashlane FREE does not have the ability to add secure notes or passwords through their website. The software most be installed to make additions or modificaitons.
LastPass
Passwords in LastPass are protected by a master password and are encrypted locally and are synchronized to any other browser. LastPass also has a form filler that automates password entering and form filling. It also supports password generation, site sharing and site logging. Installing Chrome and Firefox extensions does not require administrative privileges.Free and Premium ($12/yr) editions.
Using LastPass
Sign into LastPass
Once Lastpass is installed, click the browser icon to initiate the login process.
Adding a Site
After installing the browser extension (Firefox or Chrome) for LasPass, you can easily add sites to the central store.
Using the Menu
Click the browser extension icon to create other items such as secure notes, form information and to generate a secure password.
Using the LastPass Website
The great benefit for LastPass is you can access and add data through the website. I prefer the functionality as it allows for greater access.
